    Millersburg, Kentucky

Millersburg is a home rule-class city in Bourbon County, Kentucky, in the United States. The population was 792 at the 2010 census.[2] It is part of the Lexington–Fayette Metropolitan Statistical Area.

In 1778, 18 sturdy pioneers set out from Sherman Valley near Carlisle, PA, for Kentucky, journeying on foot through the wilderness. Among the settlers were Robert Pollock, William McClellan, William Steele, and brothers William, Robert and John Miller.

They each received a pre-emption grant of 400 acres from the governor of Virginia as an inducement to them to settle in Kentucky, and all settlers purchased an additional 1000 acres. Major John Miller would later establish the town of Millersburg on part of his 1000 acres.
